I've had the privilege of studying and working with some of the best competitors, performers and high achievers in the world. Regardless of where you are in your equestrian journey, everyone wants to get better so I use that knowledge in my sessions and workshops to help those of you who make the choice of wanting to get better.
My goal is simple, it's to inspire you through positive coaching by providing tools to help strengthen your belief in all aspects of your riding. Everything I do complements what you are currently learning with your trainers but it comes from an outside perspective without emotional judgement but lots of wisdom, success, and patience. Areas of development are: self- esteem, performance routines (pre/present/post), goal setting, mental toughness, focus, visualization, motivation, confidence, dealing with pressure, over/under arousal, team dynamics, cohesion and helping foster culture change.
I've coached at the youth, high school, collegiate, Olympic, and Professional levels and worked with a diverse group of people including actors, musicians, professional boxers, UFC fighters, Hollywood stunt teams, members of the NBA, NFL, MLB, Olympians, PGA golfers, gymnasts, softball, volleyball, equestrians and athletes from almost every discipline. The past few years, my work has expanded into helping our men and women in uniform (soldiers, firefighters and police) deal with the stresses of their job. I also teach a graduate program of sport psychology at California Baptist University.
